Modern chic and sustainability in Indian brick construction - best with European technology

Clay bricks for India – European Ceramic Technology Suppliers will present latest production solutions in Ahmedabad, Gujarat on 2nd March.

Bricks are one of the oldest and most sustainable and efficient building materials in the world. Almost neglected by modern architecture, bricks are about to see a revival. Its natural condition has provided a good living climate and thermal insulation for centuries. In the construction industry, bricks currently still have the reputation of being outdated, but the climate crisis has made people think about the advantages. Moreover, it does not contain any CO2 such as cement.

In India, brick making has a long tradition, but more in the traditional crafts. The success of the last 4 seminars showed that this is about to change.

Therefore, ects together with VDMA (Mechanical Engineering Industry Association) will organize a seminar in Ahmedabad titled Mechanization in Traditional Clay Brick and Tile Industry. The ects delegation will present technical solutions to produce high-quality bricks and tiles to the local brick making industry and investors primarily from Gujarat and other neighboring states. The one-day event will be held on 2nd March 2020 in Hotel Starottel, Ashram Road, Ahmedabad – 380013. Entrepreneurs, technical directors, engineers and investors are invited to attend this symposium and meet with the delegates of the European mechanical engineering industry.
