ECTS stands for European Ceramic Technology Suppliers
We are a working group of European suppliers of machinery, materials and engineering services for the production of ceramics, powder metallurgy and related technologies. Ceramics here, includes all kinds of raw materials as well as plant and machinery for the production of refractories, bricks, tiles, sanitary ceramics, tableware and advanced ceramics. ECTS networks and promotes its members and fosters co-operation on all levels.
We link the European ceramics technology suppliers and access together emerging markets out of Europe.
The ECTS Virtual Ceramic Technology exhibition from June 22-24, 2021, promises to present a lot of new information on more climate-friendly brick production. An Innovation Center has been set up specifically for this purpose.
It is almost perfect. Easy to manufacture using clay, sand and water, sustainable, easy to shape, with good insulating properties, proven over millennia and reusable. It may be slightly more expensive to manufacture but enables unique designs.

The film titled „Ceramics – modern life, modern buildings”, presented for the first time by ECTS, the Working Group of European Ceramic Technology Suppliers, at the sector’s leading trade show Ceramitec, is now available on the Internet. Interested parties are invited to set a link to the film on their homepages.
Energy-efficiency, digitization and diversification are the magic words for European manufacturers of heavy clay technology to be successful on the markets of the future. This became clear during the recent ECTS meeting on April 9,2018 at ceramitec in Munich.
The Construction Equipment and Building Material Machinery Division is the conceptual-technical sponsor of ceramitec and it is participating in the organisation and holding of the “Career Day” for the second time now, partnering with the “Nachwuchsnetzwerk Keramik” (New Talent Network Ceramics) and Messe München GmbH.
